hydronil - crystalline waterproofing system

MIM - Multiguard In-Depth Mortar

MIM is a fast setting, very dense cement grout that utilizes Hydronil’s unique crystalline technology together with a fast setting, high strength property to provide an effective system for establishing a barrier between concrete or masonry and the surface coating. MIM is especially formulated to reduce cracking and can withstand high hydrostatic pressures while locking on to the substrate.

This makes it an excellent product for use as a protective barrier coating and repairing damaged areas in concrete and masonry.

Advantages in using MIM

  • MIM will stop water penetration into the substrate
  • MIM can be used in difficult and damp environments
  • MIM can be used in potable water environments
  • MIM will provide a resistant barrier for water (contaminated or clean).
  • MIM will provide a strong resilient surface area with reduced cracking
  • MIM will protect against water penetration through micro-cracks by autogenously healing future micro-cracking in the surface barrier
  • MIM will not easily delaminate from the substrate even with hydrostatic pressure

Benefits of using MIM

  • MIM will provide long term protection even in demanding situations
  • MIM will work effectively even in contaminated environments
  • MIM will be as durable as the substrate.
